For Son Xotano, the landscape was as much part of the experience as the house itself. Set away from the busier parts of Mallorca, the place felt quiet and self-contained, surrounded by open land, dry textures and long views.

We photographed the stay as a whole, moving between the interiors, the landscape and the small moments in between, so the images carried that sense of being somewhere slightly removed from everything else.
